Rising cleanly within the centre of Birmingham, UK, its crisp white concrete and vertical window bands give it a rhythm that feels both modern and timeless. Completed in the early 1970s, it remains one of the city’s most refined post-war high-rises.

This one meant a lot to get right. I grew up seeing it and knowing it before I even knew what it was. The subtle angles, the tapering shape, the way the light moves across its surface… none of that was loud, but all of it mattered. In miniature, those small things became everything.

This model holds that memory. Designed by George Marsh of Seifert & Partners, it features a sculpted concrete form with subtle tapering and crisp verticality.
