Twin towers joined by a two-storey bridge, crowned with a circular observation deck. It’s equal parts Brutalist statement and science-fiction dream. Built as a gateway to the city, it still dominates the skyline decades later.

This model was a challenge in balance. The vertical weight of the twin shafts had to sit perfectly with the delicate connection of the bridge and the roundness of the top. Shrinking that into a handheld scale model meant working through careful proportions and fine detail until the silhouette felt right, while also being strong enough.

A small cast of one of the most extraordinary towers in the world.

Features
• Solid cast concrete, individually hand-poured
• 9cm high, 6cm wide, 4cm deep (approx)
• Laser-etched cork base with building name
• Comes gift-boxed for the perfect concrete gift
• Designed, modelled, and finished in the UK

Made for those who’ve seen it rise above Belgrade’s skyline, explored its base, or admired it from afar as a unique work of architectural imagination.

This model is a tribute to a building that feels both futuristic and deeply rooted in its time as a concrete monument to ambition.

15% off when you order two or more models

EU customers: please order via my Etsy shop due to customs regulations

Building Information

Location: Belgrade, Serbia
Architect: Mihajlo Mitrović
Completed: 1977
Status: Still standing, mixed use

Brief Overview:
The Genex Tower, also known as the Western City Gate, is a 35-storey Brutalist skyscraper complex in Belgrade.
