Built on a wooded hillside above the Clyde estuary, its skeletal concrete frame was designed to train priests in silence and contemplation. Now long abandoned, it stands as a ruin—open to the sky, covered in moss, full of echoes.

I approached this model slowly.
There’s a kind of sacred geometry in the way the structure is laid out—processional, fractured, poetic. I wanted the miniature to feel like a fragment of the real thing, not a clean reproduction. The lines are sharp, but the weight is quiet. It feels both solid and undone.

A small cast of a building that’s more memory than monument.

Features
• Solid cast concrete, individually hand-poured
• 3.5cm high, 9cm wide, 4.5cm deep (approx)
• Laser-etched cork base with building name
• Comes gift-boxed for the perfect concrete gift
• Designed, modelled, and finished in the UK

Made for those who’ve made the pilgrimage through the trees, studied it from a distance, or carry its image in their mind.

This piece holds something of the seminary’s presence; its absence, its legacy, its strange beauty. Its design combines religious symbolism with brutalist modernism, and although it was used for only a short time, it became one of the most important 20th-century buildings in the UK. Left to ruin, it has become a site of pilgrimage for architecture lovers—a ghost structure that continues to inspire.

Please note:

ALL EU ORDERS processed through our Etsy Store HERE

My concrete sculptures are individually hand cast in solid concrete.
