Its cluster of cylindrical forms, curved balconies, and exposed concrete structure broke entirely from the rectangular norms of its time. It was imagined as a vertical garden city, combining living, nature, and structure into one continuous form.

This model celebrates its fluid geometry. The towers’ cylindrical rhythm, deep balcony recesses, and sculptural curves were carefully refined to preserve their sense of movement at a smaller scale. I wanted the cast to capture the vitality and softness that make Torres Blancas so distinctive.

A small cast of one of Spain’s most visionary modernist towers.

Features
• Solid cast concrete, individually hand-poured
• 8.5cm high, 5.5cm wide, 4.5cm deep (approx)
• Laser-etched cork base with building name
• Comes gift-boxed for the perfect concrete gift
• Designed, modelled, and finished in the UK

Made for architects, admirers of organic modernism, and anyone who has been captivated by its shape rising above Madrid’s skyline. This model is a keepsake of a building that showed concrete could be expressive, fluid, and deeply human.

15% off when you order two or more models

EU customers: please order via my Etsy shop due to customs regulations

Building Information

Location: Madrid, Spain
Architect: Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oiza
Completed: 1969
Status: Residential use, heritage-listed

Brief Overview:
Torres Blancas was conceived as an experiment in organic high-rise living.
