Stepped terraces cascade down the riverside landscape, each room with its own balcony, combining community and individuality in one of the boldest visions of student housing ever built.

This model celebrates their distinctive rhythm. The stepped profile, the deep shadow lines, and the balance of mass and openness had to be carefully scaled down to preserve their character. It was important to me that the cast felt both geometric and humane, like the original buildings themselves.

A small cast of one of Britain’s most iconic student halls.

Features
• Solid cast concrete, individually hand-poured
• 4.5cm high, 10cm wide, 7cm deep (approx)
• Laser-etched cork base with building name
• Comes gift-boxed for the perfect concrete gift
• Designed, modelled, and finished in the UK

Made for alumni, students, architects, and admirers of Lasdun’s work. This model is a keepsake of a building that holds memories of study, friendship, and independence.
