Space House, London

The Space House miniature concrete model is a piece for people who love the more playful side of London modernism. Richard Seifert's 1968 cylindrical office tower in Holborn wraps its drum in a repeating precast pattern that's easy to spot from Kingsway, and it's now Grade II listed. This concrete model of Space House turns that round, patterned form into a small concrete sculpture for a desk, shelf or studio table, and it feels even more sculptural in the hand. It's for people who have worked inside it, Seifert fans, architects and lovers of Brutalist architecture, and it's a distinctive gift for an architect or designer. Collectors can pair it with the Centre Point and NLA Tower models. Each miniature concrete building is hand-cast in solid concrete, with its own weight and surface.
