Trellick Tower, London

Few buildings are as loved, or as argued over, as Trellick Tower, the icon of London Brutalism. This Trellick Tower miniature concrete model is for everyone who has looked up at it from Golborne Road or the Grand Union Canal and felt something. Ernő Goldfinger's slim service tower, its linking bridges and the boiler house at the top are all here. It's cast at 9.5cm so the proportions feel right in your hand, because people who know this building notice when they're wrong. This concrete model of Trellick Tower is for West Londoners, residents past and present, architects and anyone who loves Brutalist architecture. It's also a meaningful gift for an architect, or for a Londoner who has moved away. On a desk or shelf, this piece of concrete art carries the weight and texture of the real building, and no two casts are identical.
