The 2025 Brutalist Egg is inspired by the Ringway Centre in Birmingham, an iconic structure that has shaped the city’s form for decades. Known for its sweeping curves, stoic rhythm, and cantilevered lights, the Ringway Centre has long stood as a bold example of local Brutalism. But with demolition now approved, its future hangs in the balance.
This year's Brutalist Egg captures the essence of the Ringway in miniature—designed as both a tribute and a memory.
Each egg is cast in solid concrete, featuring a custom-textured surface drawn from the building’s distinctive façade.
Handmade with care, it’s more than a sculptural object—it’s a way to hold onto something soon to be lost.
This edition is limited to Easter 2025 and will not return.
It’s available only until midnight on Sunday, April 27th.

Our concete models are all made using a fine grain quickset cement with a polymer additive. This gives a good balance between strength and detail casting. However concrete is a brittle material and our models are delicate and can break with impact.

Concrete is a brittle material and so our models are delicate objects. They can be chipped or cracked easily and so need to be protected from knocks or falls.
Our concrete mix is also not waterproof and so should be protected from damp and moisture
