Brief Overview:
The Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate, often referred to as Rowley Way, is a landmark in British housing. Its bold design and social vision have earned it lasting admiration and a rare Grade II* listing.

Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate, London

The Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate miniature concrete model is made for people who care about Brutalist architecture, London council housing, and design objects with a real connection to place. Neave Brown's stepped terraces on Rowley Way, listed Grade II* in 1993, follow the curve of the railway into Euston. This hand-cast concrete model of Alexandra Road Estate shrinks that raked section to a size that fits on a desk, shelf or studio table. For architects, architecture students, Camden locals and collectors of concrete art, it's a way to keep a landmark of London Brutalism close, and a thoughtful gift for an architect who knows the building. As a miniature concrete building, it has the weight and texture of solid concrete, and small air pockets make every model one of a kind.
