Brief Overview:
Rudolph Hall was designed by Paul Rudolph as the home of Yale’s School of Art and Architecture. Its deeply ribbed concrete, complex section, and bold sculptural presence made it one of the most admired and debated Brutalist buildings in America. Damaged by fire in 1969 and later restored, it remains a landmark of American modernism and a living classroom for architectural education.

Rudolph Hall, New Haven

The Rudolph Hall miniature concrete model is made for everyone who studied, taught or got lost inside Paul Rudolph's Art and Architecture Building at Yale. It was completed in 1963. Its ribbed, hammered concrete and a section of more than thirty levels made it one of the most admired and argued-over buildings of American Brutalism. It survived a fire in 1969, was later restored, and still houses the Yale School of Architecture. This concrete model of Rudolph Hall keeps its interlocking towers and corduroy texture legible at 7cm, a desk sculpture for a studio or shelf. It's for Yale architecture alumni, students of Rudolph and lovers of Brutalist architecture, and it's an ideal graduation gift for an architect. Each piece is hand-cast in solid concrete, with its own weight and surface.
