Brief Overview:
The Ziggurat halls of residence at UEA are a defining work of British Brutalism. They remain some of the most recognisable university buildings in the UK.

UEA Ziggurats, Norwich

The UEA Ziggurats miniature concrete model is made for anyone who lived in Denys Lasdun's stepped halls, or walked past them down to the Broad. Built between 1964 and 1969 and now Grade II* listed, the terraced blocks step down towards the river Yare so that every study bedroom gets light and a view. They're one of the defining images of British Brutalism. This concrete model of the UEA Ziggurats keeps that pyramid-like profile at 10cm, a piece of concrete art for a desk, shelf or studio table. It's for UEA alumni, Norwich locals, architects and lovers of Brutalist architecture, and it's a graduation gift with a clear sense of place. Pair it with the UEA Library model. Each one is hand-cast in solid concrete, heavy and unique.
