 BRUTALIST SUGGESTION BOX

Architects are hard to buy for, because they already have opinions about everything on the shelf. These Brutalist architecture gifts start from the buildings themselves. A £15 risograph print of a stairwell or a facade is the easy yes. A miniature concrete model of Trellick Tower, the Barbican or the National Theatre is a gift for an architect that sits on a desk and starts conversations. A concrete relief or a lasercut elevation is the keepsake, for a retirement, a practice anniversary or a graduation gift. If they studied in one of these buildings, start with University Buildings. If they love a city, start with Shop by City. Everything is made by me in Birmingham. Models take about 30 days and prints are posted within 14, so order early for Christmas. Two or more models get 15% off, and prints are three for two.
