Raw Concrete, Raw Ink: Brutalist Architecture in Black and White Risograph

A series of A3 black & white risograph prints, made from my own architectural photographs. Each print transforms the concrete forms of Brutalism into textured, tactile works of art. These prints are part of my own journey and an archive of the buildings I’ve stood in front of, walked around, and loved. They’re made to be shared, so the appreciation of Brutalist architecture can spread further. Every print is both personal and universal: a record of a building, and an invitation to remember and reimagine its presence.

Risograph is not about perfect reproduction. It’s a print process known for its vivid texture, bold contrasts, and subtle imperfections. For me that rawness feels inseparable from the architecture of concrete, weight, and shadow. Scroll down to browse or filter by location

A3 Risograph Photography Prints of Brutalist Architecture

This collection features my own black and white photographs of Brutalist buildings I’ve visited, from concrete towers to monolithic facades. Each photo is printed using a risograph process, a type of digital screen printing that lends itself beautifully to architectural photography. The result is a bold, striking textured grain and depth. Ideal for capturing the sharp lines and brutal textures of post-war architecture.

Each print is A3 in size and comes unframed, ready to hang or mount however you choose. These prints aren’t glossy or pristine. They feel human, graphic, and textured — like the buildings themselves.

Whether you're an architect, designer, collector, or just someone drawn to concrete and form, I hope these pieces speak to you. They work beautifully as standalone artworks, or as part of a growing visual archive of modernist and Brutalist design. I take these photos because I want to remember what I felt in those moments — and now you can keep them too.
